Should I rely on AACSStorage as the only place to store my vital files?

No! It is good practice to always keep more than one backup of any file you cannot afford to lose. Although we are going to great lengths to ensure the long-term integrity and availability of your data, there is always a (very slim) chance of a loss - e.g. because of natural disasters affecting our data centers or someone reporting an acceptable use policy violation affecting your files or files appearing in their context. We take no responsibility for the long-term availability of your files!

 

What is the maximum file size I can upload?

Unlike other File Management systems, IDC File Manager supports large file transfers, and does not impose any form of data transfer limits. File transfers are only limited by bandwidth and the package purchased.

 

What files types are not allowed to be uploaded?

Can I upload more than one file at a time?

Sure you can browse for each file and upload them from the main upload page or you can use the Flash upload and highlight multiple files from a folder and upload them all at once.

 

Can I delete my uploaded files?

You sure can all you have to do is select the file you want to delete and the hit the delete button in the function bar at the bottom of the screen.

 

What will be my download and upload speed?

It all depends on your Internet Connection. High Download speed does not mean that you will be able to upload fast as well. This is a tool that will help you determine your download and upload speed http://www.speedtest.net/

 

Can I share files from my online storage?

IDC File Manager allows you to setup secure, individual user accounts, Which once created allows your remote users to access their own private area within the File Manager, enabling them to view and download the documents and files you have made available to them. Alternatively using the File Managers built in "Hotlink" function you can upload your files and then generate an external hotlink URL. This function is ideal for posting pictures on eBay or in your Blog.

 

Can I upload folders from my computer?

No you cannot due to security it is not allowed to upload folders. You can how ever make a folder on the storage site and upload the contents of the folder from you computer to it.
